Many orthopaedic injuries require emergency intervention to avoid worsening or complications. The Orthopaedic Emergency Center delivers immediate care to all acute and traumatic orthopaedic injuries, including fractures, sprains, neck and back injuries, work-related injuries and sports injuries.
Your injury will be quickly and accurately assessed by a physician experienced in emergency medicine. Depending upon the extent of injury, patients may be treated in the emergency room, or referred to a center specialist the same or next day. A physician from every specialty center is on call 24 hours a day.
Physicians in the Orthopaedic Emergency Center have many years of combined experience. Patients are provided the most up-to-date fracture fixation techniques and internal appliances, including lightweight fiberglass casts.
