Outpatient Occupational Therapy services include but are not limited to:
- Upper extremity (shoulder to the hand) evaluation
- Fabrication on custom thermoplastic splints
- Prefabricated splints fit and modified
- Lymphedema program
- Range of motion
- Strengthening
- Joint protection training
- Wound, scar and edema management
- Nerve mobilization and desensitization
- Adaptive equipment and activities of daily living training
- Energy conservation training
- Work simplification
- Body mechanics and ergonomic protection techniques
- Wheelchair and seating evaluations
A prescription from a physician is necessary for an occupational therapy evaluation.
