Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship
Cleveland Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital at Lutheran, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, is proud to offer an innovative post graduate fellowship in Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Medicine. This fellowship has been developed in cooperation with Fairview Hospital’s Department of Family Medicine and the Department of Orthopaedics at Lutheran Hospital. The one-year program is committed to offering a diverse subspecialty training experience in non-operative orthopaedics. The goal of the fellowship is to develop primary care physicians that can be fully integrated with orthopaedic group practices and manage complicated orthopaedic and musculoskeletal disorders with sophisticated non-operative techniques.

This fellowship will provide a comprehensive experience in:
- Hand and Upper Extremity
- Foot and Ankle
- Spine
- Sports Medicine
- Total Joint Replacement
- Pain Management
- Rheumatology
- Pediatric Orthopaedics
- Emergency Orthopaedics

Research
The fellow will be required to participate in a research project during the one-year fellowship. The project may be tailored to the incoming fellow’s interest and expertise, or participate in any number of ongoing studies. The fellowship director, faculty members, and members of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Center are available to assist in developing and refining a research project.
Benefits
Salary is compatible with other post-graduate trainees at the PGY-4 level. Benefits include health insurance, disability insurance, dental insurance, parking, and life insurance.
Leave and Conferences
Each fellow is given two weeks of vacation and time off for conferences. The department will provide $1,500 for conferences during the educational year.
